Wrap a rubber band around the mic near the base

ASTRO A50 vs Arctis 9X WiFi routers create signal losses by cycling through channels in their bands to find the clearest one. I used to have the same problem with my old Turtle Beach X41s. They were linked through 2-4GHz wireless and would periodically cycle through static, crackling, and popping noises before halting. Turn off your router's default channel selection (5GHz in this example) and then configure it to a channel that does not interact with the headset. No more drops now that the issue has been resolved.

This is not a video game. The only way to use Bluetooth is to first switch on the headset, which also turns on your Xbox. If you have an Xbox, it will turn on automatically anytime you utilize the Bluetooth feature on this headset. It had immense potential but was executed poorly. For a simple remedy, wrap a rubber band around the mic near the base. The next step is to make direct contact with Astro and explain the problem. I had the same problem with mine, and they sent me a brand new or refurbished (it appeared to be brand new) replacement that works perfectly. I didn't even have to send in my old one, which means I now have replacement parts in case I ever need them again. However, it took almost two months for the replacement to come, so it wasn't the quickest transaction. Despite the fact that the outbreak contributed to the delay. Finally, Astro will only replace it if it is returned within a year after purchase.

The headset can be turned off at any moment. The headset also generates a lot of auditory interference noise feedback. It connects to both, however the connection is not secure. Another thing to keep in mind is that in order to use Bluetooth, you must first turn on your headset, which also turns on your Xbox. If you have an Xbox, it will turn on automatically anytime you utilize the Bluetooth feature on this headset. It had immense potential but was executed poorly. Just to add my two cents, it works well on my MacBook Pro and a friend's MacBook Air. I'm not sure what's up with the person who gave the lengthy response about it not working on his MacBook Air. Unless Mac/Apple has created a new Bluetooth version that I am not aware of, it will work with all Bluetooth-enabled gadgets. It also works on all of my Samsung devices, including my tablet and phone, which I use for everything else.
