G502 Hero vs G502 Hero SE When they are spanking new, they come factory oiled. If it is definitely an issue, I would recommend cleaning them with rubbing alcohol or wiping them down with a moist paper towel before carefully drying them. Then return them to their case and discard them, since you will never need to add weights to your mouse in any eventuality that comes to mind. I'm not clear why they'd include them at all, but they have done so since the g502.
I own a number of G502s, and none of them have ever experienced a right-click issue, despite the fact that I exclusively use my mouse. I've never dismantled anything. I use one at work and one at home with no problems. Due to a fault in the mechanism, the scroll wheels do not spin freely for as long as they used to; they spin for a period but not as long as they used to. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the right-click issue is all about.
The scroll wheel is slightly different, but not significantly so unless you've previously owned a G502. When compared to the black variant, it's the type of material used that imparts a less secure grip. It's trivial, and I'm convinced that 95% of people would ignore it. At half the price of the black version, the Se variation is an incredible value. I recently updated from a non-hero g502 to the se model and am extremely satisfied.
