I used it to paint extremely rough stucco and it worked great — I would recommend purchasing a much smaller nozzle. It comes with a 515 tip, which I found to be far too aggressive in terms of paint output. I purchased several different sized tips and discovered that the 311 produced a fine enough spray that I was able to spray from a variety of angles and directions without putting on too much paint. As a result, excellent coverage was achieved, even in the nooks and crannies of the hand textured stucco. As a sprayer, I was really happy with the unit's ease of use and functionality. Cleaning up was even easier than I anticipated. I have no regrets about this purchase.
For automotive finishes, we do not recommend airless sprayers. We would propose HVLP due to its increased efficiency of transfer.
